ಹಕ್ಕಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಗೂಡು!

ಈ ತಿಂಗಳ ಸಂಚಿಕೆಯ ಮುಖಪುಟ ಲೇಖನವನ್ನು ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ದೂರ ಉಳಿಯುವ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯತೆ ಇರುವ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೀಸಲಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ಪುಟದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆ, ಕುಟುಂಬ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿನ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಿರಿಯರು, ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರು, ಚಿಂತಕರು ನುಡಿದ ಸಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವು ನಿಮಗಿಷ್ಟವಾಗಬಹುದು ಎಂಬ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಮ್ಮದು…

ಮನುಷ್ಯ ತನಗೇನು ಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅರಸಿ ಜಗತ್ತೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುತ್ತುವನು. ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವನು.

ದೇಶ ಪ್ರೇಮ, ಹಾಗೆಂದರೆ?
ಇರುವ ಒಂದು ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬೇಲಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ನೂರಾರು ದೇಶಗಳ ಗಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತಾವು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಭೂಪ್ರದೇಶವೊಂದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಗಾಢವಾದ ಪ್ರೇಮವನ್ನು ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಉಳಿದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಭೂಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಷ್ಕೃಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುವ ಗುಣವನ್ನು ದೇಶಪ್ರೇಮ ಅನ್ನಬೇಕಾ? ದೇಶಪ್ರೇಮವೆಂಬುದು ಉದಾತ್ತ ಭಾವನೆಯಾ ಇಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಕುಚಿತ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾ? ದೇಶಪ್ರೇಮವೆಂದರೆ ಉಳಿದೆಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶಗಳೆಡೆಗಿನ ದ್ವೇಷವಾ?
ಈ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾಡಲು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತವಾದ ಕಾಲ ಮತ್ತೊಂದಿರದು. ಈ ವಿಷಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಈ ಸಂಚಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಡಿಬೇಟ್ ಇದೆ.
ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪ್ರತಿ ಪುಟದ ಮೆರುಗನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಕೊಟೇಶನ್ನುಗಳು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿನವರು ಏನೆಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿವೆ.

ದೇಶದ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅದ್ಭುತ. ಆದರೆ ಅದು ದೇಶದ ಗಡಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಂತು ಬಿಡುವುದೇಕೆ? -ಪ್ಯಾಬ್ಲೊ ಕಸಲ್ಸ್

ಹಣೆ ಬರಹ
ಜಪಾನಿನ ಒಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ಬಹುತೇಕ ನಾಶವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಸೈನಿಕರು ದಣಿದಿದ್ದರೂ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗೆ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೆಂಬ ಭರವಸೆಯಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಸೈನಿಕರು ಸಂಶಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಪುನಃ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸುವುದೆಂದು ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ.
ಸೈನ್ಯವು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಬಳಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿತು. ತನ್ನ ಸೈನಿಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯು ಕಿಸೆಯಿಂದ ಒಂದು ನಾಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊರ ತೆಗೆದು, “ಸೈನಿಕರೇ, ಈ ನಾಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಾನೀಗ ಚಿಮ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅದರ ಮುಂಭಾಗ ಕಂಡರೆ, ನಾವು ಗೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಹಿಂಭಾಗ ಕಂಡರೆ ನಾವು ಸೋಲುತ್ತೇವೆ.” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ನಾಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿಮ್ಮಿಸಿದನು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕುತೂಹಲದಿಂದ ಅದು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬೀಳುವುದನ್ನೇ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ನಾಣ್ಯ, ಮುಂಭಾಗ ಕಾಣುವಂತೆ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಿತ್ತು. ಸೈನಿಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಎದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ವೀರಾವೇಶದಿಂದ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾದಿದರು. ಕಡೆಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದರು.
“ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.” ಎಂದು ಒಬ್ಬ ಸೈನಿಕ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
“ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ”, ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯು ನಾಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ತೋರಿಸಿದನು. ಅದರ ಎರಡೂ ಮುಖಗಳು ಒಂದೇ ರೀತಿ ಇದ್ದವು!
ಲೋಟ ಒಡೆದಿತ್ತು
ಇಕ್ಯು ಎಂಬ ಜೆನ್ ಗುರು ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದಲೇ ಮಹಾ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದ. ಅವನ ಗುರುವಿನ ಬಳಿ ಬಹಳ ಬೆಲೆ ಬಾಳುವ ಒಂದು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಚಹಾ ಲೋಟವಿತ್ತು. ಒಂದು ದಿನ, ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಜೋಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅಕಸ್ಮಾತಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಆ ಲೋಟವನ್ನು ಕೆಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳಿಸಿ ಒಡೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು! ಗುರುವಿನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಸಪ್ಪಳವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಅವನು ಕೇಳಿದನು, “ಗುರುಗಳೇ, ಜನರೇಕೆ ಸಾಯುತ್ತಾರೆ?” ಗುರು ಹೇಳಿದನು, “ಅದು ಸಹಜ ಮಗೂ, ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲ ಜೀವಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಸಾಯಲೇ ಬೇಕು.”
ಇಕ್ಯು ಲೋಟದ ಚೂರುಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೇಳಿದನು, “ಗುರುಗಳೇ, ತಮ್ಮ ಲೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಯುವ ಕಾಲ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು!”

ಹುಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಒಬ್ಬ ನಾಯಕನಾಗುತ್ತಾನಾ ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ನಾಯಕನ್ನು ತಯಾರು ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದಾ?ಇನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದ ಗುಣ ಜನ್ಮದತ್ತವಾದದ್ದಾ ಅಥವಾ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾದದ್ದಾ? ನಾಯಕನಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕಾದ ಗುಣಗಳು ಎಂಥವು? ಬದುಕು ನಾಯಕನನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುತ್ತದಾ?

ಗೆಳೆತನ ವೈನ್ ಇದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆ; ಕಾಲ ಕಳೆದಷ್ಟೂ ರುಚಿಗಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಬಯಸಲಿ ಬಿಡಲಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಅರಿವಿಗೆ ಬಾರದಂತೆ ನಾವು ಗೆಳೆತನದ ನವಿರಾದ ಬಳ್ಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಹಬ್ಬಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ.ನಾವು ಎತ್ತರೆತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳೆದಷ್ಟೂ, ವಿಶಾಲವಾದಷ್ಟೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನಪ್ಪುವ ಬಳ್ಳಿಗಳೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತವೆ, ಆಪ್ಯಾಯಮಾನವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ.
ಇಂತಹ ಅಪ್ಪಟ ಮಧುರ ಅನುಭೂತಿಯಾದ ಗೆಳೆತನವೆನ್ನು ಅಕ್ಷರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದಿಡಲು, ಪದಗಳ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಅಮೂರ್ತ ಸ್ನೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕಾರ ಕೊಡಲು ಹಲವರು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳ, ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ಭ್ರಮೆಗಳ, ಸೋಲಿನ ಶರಣಾಗತಿಯ ಝಲಕ್ಕುಗಳು ಈ ಸಂಚಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿ ಪುಟದ ತಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನುಡಿಮುತ್ತುಗಳಾಗಿ ಜಾಗ ಪಡೆದಿವೆ. ಓದುವ ಖುಷಿ ನಿಮ್ಮದು.

ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಏನು?
ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಬ್ಬೇ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೂ ಉತ್ತರ ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಸಲಿಗೆ ಇದು ಉತ್ತರ ಪಡೆಯುವಂತಹ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೇನೊ! ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರು ಒಂದೊಂದು ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಖ್ಯಾನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಸಮಾಜ ಒಂದೊಂದು ನಿಲುವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಯಾರು ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಸರಳಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದರೂ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುವ ಮಾಯೆಯಂಥದ್ದು ಈ ಪ್ರೀತಿ. ಆದರೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರು, ಭಾವಜೀವಿಗಳು, ಕಲಾವಿದರು ಏನೇನು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಈ ಸಂಚಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರತಿ quoteಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಘಮ! -ಸಂ
